This multi-day ski touring itinerary combines both of the region’s core mountain areas — building from shorter warm-up days near Brezovica into longer, more remote days deeper into the Accursed Mountains.
The route
Early days ease into the terrain around Brezovica, Kosovo’s largest ski resort turned touring base. From there, the itinerary pushes further into the wilder, lift-free Accursed Mountains, climbing above 2,300 meters as the trip progresses. The journey culminates in a descent from Gjeravica, Kosovo’s highest peak at 2,656 meters, skiing down toward Gropa e Erenikut before transferring back to a base town like Pejë.
Fitness & experience
Days typically involve full ascents of 800–1,000 vertical meters. A reasonable level of touring fitness matters more than technical ski ability — if you’re comfortable on multi-day Alpine tours, you’re well prepared here.
Accommodation
A mix of small mountain guesthouses and, on the more remote days, basic cabins — full board included, with a takeaway lunch on touring days.
Guiding
Routes are led by certified mountain guides, bringing essential local knowledge of terrain, snowpack, and conditions.
Gear
Standard ski touring equipment (skins, touring bindings, avalanche safety gear) is required and typically not provided.
Logistics
